Purpose and scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Majas Antique Jewels (hereinafter, «the Seller») and the user making a purchase through www.majasjewels.com (hereinafter, «the Buyer»), in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November (TRLGDCU) and Law 34/2002 (LSSICE).
Purchase process
To place an order, the Buyer must:
- Select the desired item and add it to the cart.
- Review the cart contents and proceed to checkout.
- Provide the shipping details requested by the payment processor (Stripe).
- Confirm payment. The contract is concluded at the moment of payment.
You will receive a confirmation email once payment has been processed. If you do not receive it within a reasonable time, please contact us.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in euros (€) and include applicable VAT. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the destination.
Payment is made securely through Stripe, which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Majas Antique Jewels does not store card data.
Product availability
All items are unique (no multiple stock). Availability is shown in real time. In the unlikely event that an item is no longer available after order confirmation, the Buyer will be contacted and offered a full refund.
Shipping
We ship worldwide. Shipping times and costs vary by destination and will be indicated during checkout. Items are sent in secure packaging with insurance included.
The Seller is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers or circumstances beyond its control.
Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103 of the TRLGDCU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, nor to goods which by their nature cannot be returned.
However, if the item received is defective or does not match the description, the Buyer may contact us within 14 calendar days of receipt to arrange a return or replacement.
Guarantees
Antique jewellery is sold in the condition in which it was acquired, with an honest description of its state. Information about materials and gemstones is based on visual and documentary assessment and does not constitute gemological certification unless expressly stated.
Limitation of liability
The Seller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the purchase, except in cases provided for by applicable Spanish law.
Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Madrid.
